A Case of von Willebrand's Disease

Abstract

|
A case of von Willebrand's disease in a 12-year-old girl was presented with the brief
review of literature. This patient was admitted to the Department of Internal Medicine
of Seoul National University Hospital with the chief complaints of frequent epistaxis and
easy bruisability. She had normal platelet count, prolonged bleeding time, prolonged
partial thromboplastin time and 30% of factor Ⅷ level of normal control. The diagnosis
of von Willebrand'a disease was made by thorough coagulation studies.
